Architectural Review Board

The Architectural Review Board Committee (ARB) is a volunteer group. The purpose of the ARB is to Comply with the Declaration of Covenants by reviewing and approving proposals or plans and specifications that it deems will not be detrimental to the appearance of the Magnolias as a whole, and that the appearance of any property affected thereby will be in harmony with the surrounding structures and is otherwise desirable. Any additions or alterations to the exterior of your property require submission of your proposal or plans to the ARB for review and approval before proceeding with any work.

ARB Standard and Guidelines Handbook

This handbook includes specific design standards and guidelines that have been adopted by the Board of Directors of The Magnolias of Ocala HOA. It also explains the application and review process that must be adhered to by homeowners seeking approval for any exterior modifications or changes to their homes or lots that are subject to approval by the Association.

This ARB submission form is used by homeowners when applying for proposed exterior property alterations such as; Roofing, fencing, tree removal or maybe exterior painting. This ARB submission form may also require from the homeowner additional supporting documents such as city permits. Once the application has been completed the homeowner then submits to the Management company to be presented to the Architectural Review Board.

Contractor and Builders Approval Requirements

When building in The Magnolias community, Contractors are required to first be approved by the ARB Committee. This Application requirement from the Contractor includes the Rules and Regulations and states that the Contractor is committed to following the Covenants and Restrictions for the prospective community. This also certifies that the improvements will be constructed in accordance with the final plans and specifications filed with and approved by the ARB.
